Marisa McCrone

Marisa “Marie” McCrone is the Publications Manager at the Yarshater Center for the Study of Iranian Literary Traditions at UCLA. She is the former Managing Editor at Columbia University’s Ehsan Yarshater Center for Iranian Studies. Her previous experience also includes more than a decade of research, editorial, publishing, and communications work in international affairs for organizations such as the United Nations, NGOs, think tanks, and non-profits. She holds a Master of Science degree in International Relations with distinction honors from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she specialized in international law, conflict and peace studies, and international politics. She also holds a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in International Relations and English from Syracuse University.
