The Yarshater Center at UCLA is a leading research hub for the publication and dissemination of Iranian literary traditions worldwide, carrying on the legacy of an iconic scholar, the late Ehsan Yarshater.

Our Research
Our research iniatives aim to capture the spirit of the scholarly activities pioneered by Ehsan Yarshater while also allowing for greater synergies with the research agenda of the Pourdavoud Institute.

Our People
The Yarshater Center is led by Director M. Rahim Shayegan, Jahangir and Eleanor Amuzegar Professor of Iranian at UCLA, and is overseen by a faculty advisory board consisting of senior faculty.
