The Yarshater Center for the Study of Iranian Literary Traditions at UCLA is proud to announce the continued publication of the Bulletin of the Asia Institute with Volume 32 in Spring 2026.
Spearheaded by Carol Altman Bromberg since the 1980s and serving as a foundational journal for Iranian, Near Eastern, and Central Asian studies for almost one hundred years, the Bulletin of the Asia Institute represents a scholarly tradition and standard of unparalleled quality.
The Yarshater Center is honored to be bequeathed the mantle of publication of such a prestigious journal. We are grateful to Editor Emerita Bromberg for entrusting the journal to the Yarshater Center and its Director, M. Rahim Shayegan, who shall serve as the next editor of the BAI.
